Taking the easy way out on a tired Friday evening, here is another video, more intended to please grandparents than anybody else.
Maya has been trying to master the monkey bars for a while now. She started trying it probably when she turned three, but couldn’t figure out how to swing her body and use that momentum to move to the next bar. Once she figured that out, she’d tire before she reached the end. A little while back, she finally completed her first set, in a park near our house. But I didn’t record that event.
Boston Skyline from the playground opposite Mass General
During our recent New Hampshire trip, we stopped by a playground on our way to the airport. The day was beautiful. The playground was opposite Mass General Hospital, on the banks of the Charles River. I finally captured Maya successfully completing a full set of monkey bars.
